High Five

High Five

WE ARE A HIGH FIVE COMMUNITY

At Oak Ridge, we ask our community to abide by five standards: Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Cooperative, and Be Safe. These ideals look different depending on where you are at in the building. For example, being cooperative on the playground is different than being cooperative in the classroom. To help our community understand our high five we have signs throughout the building reminding them of the high five rules in each area. To view our high five matrix , please click on the link. In addition to signage, we also practice our high five behavior every other week with high five lessons. These lessons focus on a specific behavior in a specific area. Strudents have the opportunity to win high five tickets by being "caught" exhibiting high five behavior. They enter these tickets into a raffle and if there name is drawn they get their picture taking and put ont he high five bulletin board.
